This ornament mirrors one of the artist Dwayne Unruh’s warmest memories. Just as the puppy in the design wakes his dad, Dwayne’s children always woke him up on Christmas morning. “When the kids came to get me. I’d play sleepyhead for awhile and flop back on the bed,” He says.  They had to get me up and bring my slippers before we could open our gifts.
